A Track-like Map of Elements
The design of the Periodic Table is getting more interesting. The Periodic Table which has an explanable regular pattern of all the Elements (natural and man-made) had its root in 1869 when Dmitri Mendeleev started its development.
Today, the Periodic Table through innovations has been improved to add more colour to it and to accommodate the newly discovered elements.
Interestingly, with the addition of four new elements, a new Periodic Table looking like a map of underground train track has been developed.
The tracks itemise elements in the categories of their physical states of matter, chemical properties, radioactive and artificially discovered. Some elements feature in more than one category as shown with combined tracks in the map.
